There is an artist in the house

We at Four Season Nursery are blessed to have a co-worker as a plant geek, a birder and a wonderful wildlife artist. Since childhood, Tom Ford has called the woods a second home, studying the forest heartbeat, tracking wildlife and honing his bird and plant I.D. skills.

Along with teaching himself these skills he had a natural gift for illustrating. Long before he became a co-worker at the nursery, he established himself as an artist and made a living with his art. I have much of his art in my home. For those wanting to see his beautiful work it’s on display above the gift shop at the Botanic Garden Historic Barns. It will be there through the month of October. Take this opportunity to see his art and stroll the beautiful botanic gardens with it’s art in a different form.
